Currently we have 5 different classes for music exposure at CLCS.

The K5 / 1st graders will meet with Dr. French once  a week for a music activities class as will the 2nd / 3rd graders.  The 4th / 5th graders will constitute the elementary choir and will meet for two periods a week with Dr. French for rehearsal and music activities.  New this year is that the elementary teachers will be incorporating a basic music curriculum into their weekly teaching.  From all this you can see that the elementary students will have a good exposure to music this year.

All 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students will combine to form the Middle School Choir.  This group will meet with Dr. French during 5th period on Thursdays and Fridays.

This year all 4 high school classes are represented in the Senior High Choir.  The latest enrollment figures show us at 50 students in this choir.  That is literally double what we had last year.  Very exciting times for this group as they perform in the school, community and competitions all for the purpose of learning to use their voices effectively to praise out Lord.

Be listening for great things from the music students at Cross Lanes Christian School this year.
